Blower Door Testing

A Blower Door test tells how leaky or air tight your home is. This should be done before and after any improvements are made. This will quantify the effects of air-sealing and other improvements and provide other valuable information.

We take a Whole-House Approach to evaluating your home. Rather than focusing on a single component such as Windows, an old Heating or Cooling system, or Insulation, we evaluate your home as a system to determine what energy saving improvements are actually needed, and assess how they will deliver real energy efficiency and cost savings for you.

Thermal Imaging

High Performance Home uses a FLIR Thermal Imaging Camera during the Energy Audits we perform. Thermal Imaging not only is a great help in identifying problem areas, but can quickly check the effectiveness of Air Sealing and other remedial work.
